Research & Development Engineer
This position reports to an Engineering Manager. The job duties include:
Research and develop concepts to address specific thermal problems.
Develop concepts into actual solutions through analysis, design, prototyping and testing.
Manage multiple R&D projects, responsible for task scheduling, progress tracking, resource planning and coordination, supplier management and customer service.
Identify R&D opportunities within and outside of the company. Develop R&D proposals for internal and external
customers.
Minimum requirements for this position include:
M.S. degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Two to three years of experience working in a R&D environment after obtaining the M.S. degree.
Prior experience in using commercial FEA and CFD Packages.
Prior experience in one or more of the following technical areas: thermoelectric materials, heat storage, and HVAC.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills demonstrated by technical publications and presentations.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently.
Product Development Engineer
This position reports to an Engineering Manager. The job duties include:
Design, fabricate and test thermal products to meet specific thermal and mechanical requirements.
Transition thermal products to production and support related production activities.
Manage multiple product development and transition projects, responsible for task scheduling, progress tracking, resource planning and coordination, supplier management and customer service.
Support sales & marketing activities and prepare quotes in response to customer inquiries.
Minimum requirements for this position include:
B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Two to three years of experience working in a product development and/or production environment after obtaining the B.S. or M.S. degree.
Prior experience in using commercial CAD and FEA Packages.
Prior hands-on experience with mechanical fabrication, measurement and computerized data acquisition.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills demonstrated by technical publications and presentations.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently.
Laboratory Technician
This position reports to an Engineer or Engineering Manager. The job duties include:
Support engineering staff in design, fabrication, testing and delivery of thermal/mechanical products and associated hardware.
Procure materials as required and work with suppliers on price and delivery schedule.
Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment and facilities, as required.
Perform incoming material inspections, in process and final inspections, as required.
Minimum requirements for this position include:
Certificate from a technical school or a minimum 3 years of work experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with machining, mechanical assembly and thermal testing. Prior experience with computerized data acquisition systems is a plus.
Experienced with TIG welding of light gage materials including aluminum, stainless steel and other metals.
Prior experience with electricity, electronics and vacuum systems is a plus.
Manufacturing Technician
This position reports to an Engineer or Engineering Manager. The job duties include:
Support engineering staff in design, fabrication and installation of production fixtures and tooling.
Procure materials as required and work with suppliers on price and delivery schedule.
Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities, as required.
Perform incoming material inspections, in process and final inspections, as required.
Train and supervise production personnel, as required.
Minimum requirements for this position include:
Certificate from a technical school or a minimum 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with machining, mechanical assembly and thermal testing. Prior experience with computerized data acquisition systems is a plus.
