Advanced Cooling Technologies Expands Manufacturing Capacity to Support Growing Demand in Space, Defense, and Data Center Markets
New Lancaster investments include a 50,000-square-foot cold plate manufacturing facility, expanded CCHP production, and plans to add up to 100 employees.
LANCASTER, Pa. — July 14th 2026 — Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) a leading provider of advanced thermal management solutions, today announced a major expansion of its manufacturing operations in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to support growing demand across the space, defense, and data center markets. ACT has implemented or has in process capital investments exceeding $5 million to support capacity and throughput for critical components associated with national security satellites and AI direct-to-chip cooling infrastructure.
The company expects strong growth over the next 12 months as customers accelerate investments in satellite constellations, next-generation defense systems, artificial intelligence data centers, and other mission-critical technologies that require increasingly sophisticated thermal management solutions.
To meet this demand, ACT is investing in a new 50,000-square-foot cold plate manufacturing facility and adding a second shift dedicated to high-volume Constant Conductance Heat Pipe (CCHP) production. The expansion is expected to create up to 100 new jobs across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations functions.
“The industries we serve are undergoing a period of unprecedented innovation and accelerated demand,” said Bryan Muzyka, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Whether it’s satellite constellations, advanced radar systems, electronic warfare platforms, precision-guided munitions, or the AI infrastructure transforming modern data centers, our customers are facing increasingly complex thermal challenges. They need a partner capable of scaling with them while delivering the performance, reliability, and speed these applications demand.”
Across the defense sector, rising investment in advanced sensing, communications, directed energy, radar, and autonomous systems is driving increased demand for high-performance thermal management technologies. In space, the rapid deployment of satellite constellations and next-generation spacecraft is creating new requirements for lightweight, highly reliable thermal solutions. At the same time, the explosive growth of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing is accelerating the adoption of liquid cooling technologies throughout the data center industry.
The expanded Lancaster operations will significantly increase the company’s capacity to manufacture cold plates and Constant Conductance Heat Pipes, strengthening domestic supply chains while supporting critical aerospace, defense, and computing applications.
