ACT Delivers Aerospace Heat Pipes to Boeing for Integration on Four Satellites

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – October 8, 2014 – Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) announced today that it has delivered numerous Constant Conductance Heat Pipes (CCHP’s) to Boeing’s satellite business in El Segundo, CA.

ACT’s aluminum-ammonia CCHPs are being integrated across four (4) unique satellite platforms in order to maintain proper operation for mission critical electronics and payloads. These heat pipes go through rigorous quality requirements to assure 30+ year operating life in space. ACT was qualified by Boeing as a supplier for CCHPs in 2013. Once launched, these parts will add to ACT’s space flight track record: currently over 4 million hours on orbit!
