ACT Recognized Among Central Pensylvania’s 2011 Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – September 19, 2011 – Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) was recognized by the Central Penn Business Journal as one of Central Pennsylvania’s
Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies. ACT received this honor in each of the last three years.

Started as a research and development company in 2003, ACT quickly became known as an innovator in the advanced heat transfer technology field and one of the most successful Small Business Innovation Research companies in Pennsylvania. Building on its substantial technological capabilities, the company in recent years made successful expansions into several new markets including Electronics Cooling and Satellite Thermal Control. Today, ACT is one of the very few companies in the U.S. that routinely deliver heat pipes and related products to space and terrestrial applications.

“Our people are making this happen”, said Dr. Jon Zuo, President and Chief Technical Officer of ACT, when asked about the factors contributing to ACT’s significant growth. “We work very hard at being innovative while also maintaining a disciplined approach toward project management and customer service,” he explained, “which enables us to do new things, be profitable, and keep customers satisfied.”

ACT, along with the other “Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies”, will be profiled in a special supplement to the September 23, 2011, issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.

Earlier in 2011, ACT received the prestigious Tibbetts award from the U.S. Small Business Administration for its outstanding performance in technology innovation and commercialization. The company continues to identify new growth opportunities for its technologies in existing and new markets.
