ACT Recognized Among Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies for the Fifth Time
Lancaster, Pennsylvania – September 10, 2012 – Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) was recognized by the Central Penn Business Journal as one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania for 2012. This is the fifth time ACT received this honor in the past six years.
“We’re very pleased to be recognized for our company’s continuing growth”, said Dr. Jon Zuo, President and Chief Technical Officer of ACT, while attending the award ceremony along with a number of ACT employee representatives. “Sitting with me here today are some of the winners of our various innovation programs over the past year,” he continued, “this award reflects our people’s ability to develop and apply innovative technologies and products in different markets and applications.”
From the company’s inception in 2003, ACT has actively expanded its technologies and products in new markets and applications. Its products are currently used in diverse systems including satellites for telecommunications, weather monitoring and reconnaissance, electronic equipment for military and commercial aircraft, ground vehicles and sea vessels, and temperature measurement and control equipment for high end temperature calibration and material processing industries. The company’s research and development operation further diversifies its capabilities to new technologies such as pumped two-phase and vapor compression systems, advanced combustion and thermochemical reactions, atomic layer deposition coatings for enhanced heat transfer and corrosion resistance, and molecular dynamics simulation and Microscale modeling.
