ACT's WiSTEM Group Partners with Local Organization
Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. WiSTEM group volunteered at Lancaster County’s Lancaster Science Factory where they proctored hands-on thermal-related displays for children and their families to participate in. These demonstrations explored thermal energy, conduction, convection, thermal expansion, and heat capacity. ACT’s WiSTEM group is a newly formed group of female engineers and technicians whose purpose is to empower women in STEM fields and to encourage the next generation to be excited about science and aware of all the career paths available in their future.
