INHECO Signs Long Term Agreement for ACT Vapor Chambers
Lancaster, PA, December 10, 2018 – Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) announced today that they have entered into a long term supplier agreement with German-based INHECO Industrial Heating & Cooling GmbH. In the two-year agreement, ACT will provide INHECO with cutting-edge Vapor Chamber Assemblies. The vapor chambers are part of INHECO’s Thermal Cycler product line used for Biomedical Research and Diagnostics. ACT will assemble these advanced vapor chambers under INHECO’s VCM® Technology brand and intellectual property. The thermal cyclers take benefit from the ultrafast heat spreading capability of vapor chambers, which – through highly efficient, passive two phase heat transfer – provides the unit with the precise temperature uniformity required for these high-end biomedical applications.
ACT and INHECO have been closely working together for several years, developing and maturing this crucial technology. Through that long collaboration, “ACT consistently demonstrated strong technical expertise and high-quality manufacturing capability,” according to INHECO CEO Guenter Tenzler. “Now that we have progressed to launching the products and the technology commercially, it’s only natural to continue down the path that has brought us so much success to date. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial collaboration,” Mr. Tenzler noted.
ACT’s Scott Garner, Vice President Industrial Products, added, “Our joint development with INHECO has further demonstrated the benefits of using vapor chambers for heat spreading and transfer. We are excited to continue to work with INHECO and to see this technology advance into a gold standard for thermocycling applications.”
