Section 1. Purpose
This Privacy Policy for California Residents (“Policy”) is provided by Advanced Cooling Technologies (“ACT” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this Policy to supplement our Privacy Policy and applies solely to all visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”).
We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (together, “CCPA”). This Policy explains how ACT collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information about California residents. This Policy also explains certain rights that California residents have under the CCPA and how to exercise those rights. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Policy.
Section 2. Categories of Personal Information ACT Collects
In general, the categories of Personal Information we collect, sources of that information, business and commercial purposes for why we collect and use it and who we share it with, as well as our personal information retention practices, are as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
However, California law requires we restate some of this information for specific categories that are defined in CCPA/CPRA. The type of personal information we collect and how we handle that personal information, including if we share or sell that personal information, depends on how you are specifically interacting with us and which Services you are inquiring about.
Business Purpose: We may disclose the Personal Information we collect to third parties for business purposes, such as to engage third parties or service providers that support our business functions. For example, we may disclose information from your visits to the Company’s website to a cybersecurity consultant to help secure the website or disclose your address to our shipping carrier to deliver your order. We only make these business purpose disclosures under written contracts that describe the purposes, require the recipient to keep the Personal Information confidential, prohibit using the disclosed information for any purpose except performing the contract, and meet the CCPA’s other contract requirements for engaging service providers or contractors
Personal Information Sales and Sharing: We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties and have not sold it in the preceding 12 months. We may share your Personal Information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes and have shared your Personal Information in the preceding 12 months.
Our Personal Information sharing does not include information about consumers we know are under age 18.
In general, we have collected, disclosed for a business purpose, and shared the following categories of Personal Information and from California consumers within the last 12 months:

We do not sell Personal Information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
Section 5. Your Rights Under the CCPA
If you are a California Consumer, you may have one or more of the following rights under CCPA/CPRA:
- Right to confirm we process your personal information and, if so, to request we disclose to you:
- The categories of personal information we collected about you
- The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information
- The categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information
- The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
- Right to access — which may include a portable copy — correct, complete, or delete specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to limit our use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information, as sale is defined under CCPA/CPRA.
- Right to opt out of the sharing of personal information, as sharing is defined under CCPA/CPRA.
- Right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights under CCPA/CPRA.
- Additionally, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 may permit you the right to request information regarding the personal information about you we disclose to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
Section 6. Exercising Your Rights Under the CCPA
We respond to verifiable requests received from individuals who wish to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws. If you would like to exercise your privacy rights under CCPA, or are an Authorized Agent making a request on behalf of a California consumer, please contact us at insidesales@1-act.com.
The information you provide will be used only to help verify and process your request. If you are an Authorized Agent, we reserve the right to request you demonstrate evidence of your authorization, either by providing us with a signed permission form or a copy of your power-of-attorney granting you such authority.
After submitting your request, please monitor your email for any follow-up communications from us. We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
