NASA TFAWS

August 21 - August 25

The Thermal and Fluids Analysis Workshop (TFAWS) is an annual training and professional development workshop that is designed to encourage knowledge sharing, professional development, and networking throughout the thermal and fluids engineering community within NASA and the aerospace community at large. The vision of TFAWS is to maintain continuity over time and between disciplines throughout the thermal and fluids engineering community.

ACT Engineers will be presenting various papers:

Kuan-Lin Lee, Sai-Kiran Hota, et al. will be presenting Advanced Two-Phase Cooling System for Modular Power Electronics.

Ramy Abdelmaksoud and Kuan-Lin Lee will be presenting Development of Flight Demonstration Hot Reservoir Variable Conductance Heat Pipes for Microgravity Testing and Future Lunar Landers and Surface Systems.

Brett Leitherer, Calin Tarau, Kuan-Lin Lee, Srujan Rokkam, and Tyler Spinello will be presenting Autonomous Melting Probe for Icy Worlds Exploration.

Nathan Van Velson will be presenting Two-Phase Thermal Switch for Lunar Lander and Rover Thermal Management.

Mike Ellis and Haley Myer will be presenting Star-shaped, Titanium-water Vapor Chamber for Temperature Management of the Carbon Dioxide Removal Assembly.

Rohit Gupta, Chen-Hua Chen, and Bill Anderson will be presenting 3D Printed Wick Development for Loop Heat Pipes.
