ACT-HPC-15-SS-WEDGE

Description

The ACT-HPC-15-SS-WEDGE can be used with all ACT-HPC-15 series heat pipe coolers.  The WEDGE first mounts on the control cabinet to provide a slight 5 degree tilt favoring the hotter internal control cabinet temperatures. Since the ACT-HPC-15 is a gravity aided thermosyphon device it need the tilt to optimally function.  Adding the WEDGE provides 100% of the ACT-HPC-15 units performance with no penalty for mounting it horizontally. Without the WEDGE the ACT-HPC operates at 85% of it stated performance.  There is no need for the WEDGE if the unit is mounted vertically on top of an enclosure.
