Lancaster, Pennsylvania – March 16, 2009 – Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) has passed the annual surveillance audit on its ISO 9001:2000 and AS 9100-B certified quality management system with a perfect score. The annual audit was conducted by Intertek Testing Services on February 23 and 24, 2009.
ACT received the ISO 9001:2000 international quality certification in December 2005 and the AS 9100-B certification in December 2006. The just concluded audit was the second annual surveillance audit. ACT has achieved perfect scores on both the initial and surveillance audits.
The certification is a split scope certification: ISO 9001:2000 for terrestrial applications, and AS 9100-B for aerospace applications. The certified quality system covers four major business processes: management responsibility, resource management, product realization, measurement and analysis, and improvement.
