ACT Reduces Price of Standard Isothermal Furnace Liners and Introduces New Ultra High Temperature Isothermal Furnace Liners

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) announces substantial Price and Lead Time reduction of its Isothermal Furnace Liner (IFL) products. Since June 2004, prices of the Standard IFLs have been reduced by 25% from historical prices. Starting September 1, 2004, this price reduction will be permanent. The delivery lead time for standard IFLs will also be reduced from 8 – 12 weeks to 5 – 6 weeks.

“During the past year, we have aggressively looked for ways to improve manufacturing efficiency, and the efforts are beginning to pay off”, says Mr. Peter Dussinger, Manager of High-Temperature Programs & Products at ACT. “We are now in a position to pass the cost savings onto our customers.”

In addition to the price and lead time reduction, ACT announces the expansion of the IFL product line by introducing a line of Ultra High Temperature Isothermal Furnace Liner (UHT-IFL) products. Compared to current IFLs that typically operate up to 1,100°C, the UHT-IFLs operate with significantly improved durability in higher temperature ranges. The UHT-IFLs are available in all the Standard IFL sizes.

The IFL product line was transferred to ACT from Thermacore, Inc. in April 2003, following the completion of an exclusive licensing agreement between the two companies. During the past year, ACT has manufactured IFLs for customers in precision temperature calibration, materials processing, and other technology applications.
